These Terms are intended to be read together with any course-specific policies, enrollment forms, waivers, consent forms, house rules, or written agreements provided by Bella Lingua Education Inc.. We may remove any participant from a class, workshop, or session, temporarily or permanently, if we determine in our reasonable discretion that the participant’s conduct is unsafe, unlawful, disruptive, or otherwise inconsistent with these Terms. In such cases, any refund will be determined in accordance with our cancellation and refund policy and applicable law.
4. Payment Terms and Conditions
Fees for our services are set out at the time of booking, registration, invoice issuance, or as otherwise communicated by Bella Lingua Education Inc.. All prices are in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise.
- Payment may be required in advance, in full or in instalments, depending on the service.
- We may require a deposit to reserve a class seat, private lesson slot, workshop place, or customized program.
- Fees must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice, booking confirmation, or registration page.
- If payment is not received when due, we may suspend access to services, cancel registrations, or withhold materials until payment is made.
- You are responsible for any taxes, duties, bank charges, chargeback fees, NSF fees, or payment processing fees permitted by law.
We may update pricing at any time for future bookings or renewals. Price changes will not apply retroactively to services already paid for, unless the change is required by law, a pricing error occurred, or you agree otherwise in writing.
Where installments or recurring payments are offered, you authorize us and our payment processors to charge the selected payment method for the amounts due. It is your responsibility to ensure your payment method remains valid and funded.
Any discounts, promotional pricing, scholarships, or credits are offered at our discretion and may be subject to separate terms and eligibility criteria.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Our cancellation and refund practices may vary depending on the service purchased. Unless a separate written policy applies, the following general terms govern:
- Group classes: Cancellations made before the class start date may be eligible for a refund minus any non-refundable registration or administrative fee, if stated at the time of purchase. After classes begin, fees for attended or reserved classes are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Private tutoring: You must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a private session, unless a different notice period is stated when booking. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged in full.
- Workshops and immersion sessions: Deposits may be non-refundable. Cancellations close to the event date may be partially refundable or non-refundable depending on staffing, venue, and material commitments.
- Children and teen programs: Parent or guardian cancellations are subject to the same notice and refund rules as other services, subject to any additional safety or supervision requirements.
- Custom business programs: Customized or reserved corporate services may be non-refundable once planning, preparation, or delivery has commenced, except as otherwise agreed in writing.
If we cancel a class, session, or service, we may, at our discretion, offer a make-up class, alternate session, service credit, or refund for the affected portion, except where cancellation is due to force majeure or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If a service must be rescheduled, we will make reasonable efforts to provide comparable alternatives.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to our contact information listed below. Approved refunds, if any, will generally be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period, subject to processing times of financial institutions.
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory refund rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in Canada, including applicable provincial consumer protection legislation.
